Sunflowers at The National Gallery

We visited The National Gallery to see Van Gogh's Sunflower exhibit. One of the sunflower paintings is in their permanent collection and one is on loan, so it is the first time two of the paintings are on display together at The National Gallery in over 60 years.

As you may have read, for Sophia's birthday we went to see Mr. Peabody & Sherman. The girls loved it and Sophia goes crazy when she sees any of the movie advertisements around town!

The girls enjoyed seeing the Van Gogh exhibit, as well as Monet and the other impressionists. As we walked through one of the galleries, I said to Sophia, "Can you believe that painting is nearly 400 years old?" Her reply was, "That's not so many in dog years".  Umm. Okay.

After the museum, we had a cup of tea and walked over to the M&Ms World store in Leicester Square. At 35,000 square feet, I read it is the world's largest candy store. It was crazy big and crazy busy.

The girls all mixed and matched their own M&Ms bags and then we called it a day.
