We had lunch on the patio at the same hotel Chris and I stayed at in Dubai in December of 2014.
We often take cards along with us and play card games or Uno.
Do you remember watching the news and seeing the building on fire in Dubai on New Year's Eve? This is that building now - they are repairing it.
As we walked down the street, the clouds seemed to swallow up the Burj Khalifa.
Next up... A desert tour.
We were taken out to the desert in a white Toyota SUV. When we got there, the guide deflated the tires some and then drove out into the sand. He stopped for photos and then we got back in and then for about twenty minutes, he drove like a maniac through the dunes. It was like Mr. Toad's Wild Ride and, of course, Chris loved it. It was insane!
At the end of Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, we arrived at this camp in the desert where we were to have our evening meal and entertainment.
And there was camel riding!
