A week in Dubai - day one!

In February, for the girls' half term break (think a week off - like spring break, only it happens each term - so three times per year), we flew to Dubai to visit Chris.

Gotta love freely flowing champagne in business class!

The girls tell me that they really like flying business class. I tell them to get a good education and a really good job!

Our family tradition is to have fondue on Valentine's Day, and we haven't been able to do it for the past two years due to moving to England and then moving to a new house within England, so this year, despite not being at home (we make fondue at home instead of going out, usually), we found a melting pot restaurant in Dubai! 

The Melting Pot was a huge hit!
